The Sinner Remerges

There was a strange scent in the air. Something sickly sweet, and of death. The scent was traveling, never settling in one place until it found itself in a abandoned town, dry leaves mingling with the scent. It seemed to grow stronger as a cool wind came. The scent stopped in front of a particular building. A strand of onyx hair would land where the scent stopped, until it traveled into a broken window.

As the soft wind blew into the old tavern window, so would she gingerly appear. She was someone from days gone by. She had been traveling the galaxies now and decided to follow a scent that was familiar to her, yet different, she knew it was that of her old friend Benaires.

Her soft long black waves of hair fell down to her waist, a soft yet deathly elegant contrast to her silver-white skin with scales scattered across her body. Her eyes were a pure liquid silver, a rare thing for any living form. Her nose was small and delicate above a pair of deep and full rose pink lips. She wore a satin ribbon around her neck with a medallion on it from ages long gone to humans. She was in a black corseted ball gown that faded to white at her feet.  A long silken black glove was on one arm, as the other was bear, exposing raised white scroll worked scars. The exposed arm also had on her forearm, seven assorted rare gemstones piercing through her flesh. Although they were not seen, she wore a pair of silken black ballet flats.

Her face was void of all emotion as a pair of metallic wings ripped from her back, her blue blood spraying the walls around her, searing holes in the wood with a hiss. Her nails were long black onyx claws pointing outward and whispered into the air across the vast space:

"Come out Benaires, we have much to discuss pup."

Her voice would travel to his ears and she knew it, she had known him for far too long for him to ignore her call. Her voice was a sirens call, sadly few breeds could. She shared a line of DNA with him, so regardless she knew he would answer. She would chuckle if she had emotions, waiting patiently for the pup to arrive. She would always call him pup no matter what....

"Norvus Eviscerae?"

Was what the ears would pick up on, being deep in meditation atop of the Geostratum Of Antiquity.

The ears of four perked forward, seeking out the sounds of the female voice indeed. Pursing his lips finally, Benaires only spake out quietly,

"Is that some kind of greeting? I'm sure you DO know who I am."

Gothra picked up on the vibrations that ebbed throughout the Geostratum Of Antiquity.

Placing his 4-foot tall Hourglass upon his shoulder, Gothra began to walk into the direction of the two voices that he had heard.

Emerging up from a pool of Dark Terror, a set of two tails slammed up and down, splashing about wrecklessly. The eyese of Onyx Black were to open up slowly as the body traveled along slowly.

Talons of left and right were dripping the black substance as IT walked up and out of the pool. Liquid drianed from its plumage of sorts, indicating that some kind of lifeform had come into substance.

IT had a name: Avus.

"Kharesh natu larimarrh. Benaires - j'tek."

She spoke her tongue to him; as she did so her mouth would twitch slightly in the corner as if to make a smirk before speaking again. She could sense something stronger in the way he spoke, had time truly passed so fast?

"But of course pup. Had you forgotten me after so long? The tavern you once held lays in ruins. I see time has thus since passed faster here than whence I traveled to. Come, we have much to discuss. Your blood is running thinly in my veins now. I fear the link may break."

She folded her wings against her and rolled her neck as she touched a aged table. She could still sense beings that held memories here. Perhaps when her time came she would return here. But alas she knew not. She was no Oracle.

"How did you know I ran a Tavern?"

Ben said, jumping all of the way down from his meditation spot, only to land right in front of the female life form. His Crimson Red Cloak shimmered wildly as he could pick up on the other two froms that were heading near; Cyrix Gothra, age of 400, and Avus Insectium; one of the strangest Daichons ever to walk reality.

He then checked his left paw for kinks, licking it quickly as he began to walk along with the familiar woman of sorts.

She smirked and rubbed him by the front set of ears before she chuckled at him -  "Why do you ask how do I know such things? Silly. I know what goes on in your mind, it is thanks to you that I was able to track you so easily."

She sensed he was different as they walked and swatted him with her tail before she flashed with a scream into  a young Daichon form of himself. Her body was beinging to deteriorate with the blend of Nyactian and Daichon dna. If she had a soul, perhaps that too would take a different form.

Was being in contact near him doing this to her? What was going on with the strand that they two shared in her blood?
